Police Release Identity of London Attacker

U.K. authorities have identified Wednesday’s London attacker as 52-year-old Khalid Masood, reports the Daily Beast.

From the Daily Beast:

Masood, who was killed by police after ramming his car into a crowd and stabbing people at random outside Westminster Palace, is accused of killing three people, including a police officer, and injured scores more. Masood reportedly has a criminal history and is a U.K. citizen. Earlier Thursday, ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. Among those killed was an American from Utah, Kurt Cochran.

The revelation of the identity follows the news that eight other people were arrested in relation to the attack.
