Peggy Harris, like so many other women, lost her husband Billie in combat during World War II. Harris received the run-around from the government for decades, endlessly searching for answers as to what befell her husband that day.
When Billie’s cousin decided to take on the task himself, however, the answers came easily, and the resulting story led Peggy on a journey to a small town in France, where her husband is hailed as a hero.
