On Saturday, talk show host Montel Williams said he’d be perfectly okay with using the National Guard to kill members of a militia group that occupied an empty federal building in Oregon.
In addition, he’s “fine” with using deadly force to take out Ammon Bundy, one of those involved in the incident.
His tweets didn’t sit well with many Bundy supporters. Twitter erupted in response to William’s tweets.
Williams has refused to retract his statements. As many on Twitter point out, this effort led by the Bundys is similar the BLM movement. Both movements have taken over property in the name of their mission. However, Williams holds a double standard to these two groups.
