On the internet you can come across a lot of theories about government control and secret operations. Of course, most of it is fairly unbelievable. One persistent theory which succeeded in getting many people worked up in the early days of the internet is that the government is either spraying us or spraying the atmosphere with some sort of aerosolized chemicals, compounds, or poison.
