International Scholarships to Study in the US

If you want to study in the states but don’t know where to start, we’ll help you out. While the process might seem complicated and tedious, there are shortcuts that you can take if you are truly interested in achieving your goals. But first things first, before even talking about the application process, let’s talk reality: the biggest problem U.S. international students have is… money!

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, the average tuition undergrads had to pay for the 2015-16 academic year was $43,065 at private nonprofit institutions, and $23,776 at private for-profit institutions. However you look at these numbers, this idea will involuntarily pop up into your mind, “how can I survive these costs?”

We have the solution! Since internationals are not eligible for federal loans without a co-signer, the only thing they have left is applying for student scholarships!  Here are some of the best ones to consider.

This is an essay contest scholarship in which three students will win and thus be awarded a scholarship of $2,000 (each). In order to be eligible, students must be of ages 16 to 35. In order to enter the competition, students must submit a 500 words essay (tops) on the importance of multilingualism to personal and professional development. The essays will be posted on Preply.com and receive votes from users. The three essays with the highest number of votes win.

  1. The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship

As a side note – to get such a great scholarship, you must study well and have good grades. In order to have excellent results, you must devote time to studying those educational subjects. However, make sure you don’t forget about your health! In the end, that’s the most important, as you won’t be able to go anywhere or do anything without being in a good shape. If some type of problem arises and you are unable to study hard and apply for millions of scholarships at the same time, then check with expert essay writers  who are willing to help you 24/7.
