Four Arrested After Torturing A Disabled Man Live On Facebook

Chicago investigators have detained and questioned four people after discovering a Facebook Live video which shows a group torturing a disabled male, while someone yelled, “F*** Trump,” and “F*** white people,” reports Fox 32.

According to the report, Chicago Police were made aware of the video, which shows at least four people holding the young man down, on Tuesday.

Fox 32 reports that the Chicago Police Department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said, “The video is reprehensible.”

“It’s sickening. You know it makes you wonder what would make individuals treat somebody like that,” Police Supt. Eddie Johnson added.

In the video, the victim is repeatedly kicked and hit, all while he is tied up and gagged. The camera shows visible cuts to his scalp.

As it plays on, the hostage-takers are seen holding a knife to the victim while ordering him to curse President-elect Donald Trump. The group also made the victim drink from a toilet, according to Fox 32.

Guglielmi says that authorities said that the victim appeared to be in his “late-teens or early twenties,” met with some acquaintances who then drove him to a Chicago apartment in a stolen vehicle, where they held him hostage and tortured him.

The Chicago Police Superintendent says that he doesn’t believe that the attacks were “politically motivated.” Charges are expected to be filed in the next 24 hours according to Fox 32.
