Rand Paul Joins The Daily Show For a Bourbon-Infused Debate

Sen. Rand Paul has been on a media blitz since being bounced to the undercard debate on Fox Business tonight. His campaign wasted no time in reaching out to donors on a “fight back against the media blackout” campaign, which is apparently working.

In a bizarre twist of fate, his bourbon-infused debate on The Daily Show Wednesday evening allowed for more camera time to discuss the issues than he would have gotten from either debates in North Charleston, S.C.

Paul appeared to be having some fun and even made referenced to his “swag bag” to Trevor Noah‘s amusement. Meanwhile, Rand Paul came-off relaxed, genuine, and likable.

After trending on social media outlets and appearing virtually everywhere in both TVLand and Cyberworld, it is becoming apparent that if people didn’t know who Rand Paul was, they do now.
