[dropcap size=small]C[/dropcap]all Marco Rubio whatever you wish, but the label of “theocrat” might just have to wait. In a recently surfaced video, the 2016 presidential candidate was asked by an atheist to explain how he would go about upholding the constitutional rights of all Americans, the non-believers and non-Christians included.
Rubio, who has infamously run many of his campaign’s ads on the platform of turning to religion and faith as a means of country-wide salvation, might have been expected to make an ostracizing statement. Instead, he gave an answer that any true constitutionalist would have no choice but to surrender to and applaud.
