Bad Mom
AUSTIN, TX – A 23-year-old woman was arrested and charged with injury to a child after she threw her 8-month-old baby at a moving vehicle.
Lorena Garcia threw her child onto the car of her estranged husband Roberto Zepeda last December after an argument over a financial agreement involving the couple’s four children. The couple had been arguing when Zepeda left the area and got into his vehicle carrying their 2-year-old child.

Garcia approached the vehicle holding her baby and was banging on the window as he tried to leave. Zepeda claims that his foot slipped off the brake as he was reaching for his cell phone and when he looked up Garcia threw the baby onto the windshield of the car.
Zepeda then claims he rolled down the window and Garcia picked the baby up and launched it through the window. Zepeda luckily caught the child.
The child sustained a cut to its left shin from the incident. Two of the children who were present reported to the police that their mother did indeed throw the child onto the windshield.
Garcia was booked and held on a $14,000 bail.
