Trump Turns on GOP, Says He’s Happy to be “Unshackled” from the Party

After facing loud voices denouncing his behavior, numerous calls to step down, and a plethora of un-endorsements over the last week, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, is apparently feeling rather free.

According to Politico, following a conference call made by Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) to fellow Republican (GOP) legislators, where he explained that he would no longer campaign for Trump and instead would be shifting his focus to the Congressional races to help maintain the Party’s majority, Trump took to Twitter and unleashed a tirade on Ryan and the GOP.

Despite winning the second debate in a landslide (every poll), it is hard to do well when Paul Ryan and others give zero support!

While he was critical, it should be noted that Ryan did not pull his endorsement of Trump, though it looks increasingly possible that he may. Rather, he simply said that he would not campaign with him. In typical Trump fashion, when faced with any remote criticism, a barrage of ad hominem attacks came spewing out.

Adding fuel to the fire, was Trump’s shift from firing upon Speaker Ryan to the party itself.

With the exception of cheating Bernie out of the nom the Dems have always proven to be far more loyal to each other than the Republicans!

Disloyal R’s are far more difficult than Crooked Hillary. They come at you from all sides. They don’t know how to win – I will teach them!

Trump then started casting stones in another direction, yanking in Senator John McCain, who publicly un-endorsed him earlier in the week following his statements about women with then-host of Access Hollywood Billy Bush.

The very foul mouthed Sen. John McCain begged for my support during his primary (I gave, he won), then dropped me over locker room remarks!

Having a large ego and very thin skin, it is not at all surprising to see Trump start throwing “hay-makers” in his own house. In fact, piled around in his history are an incredible amount of stories, with many different areas of criticism, where Trump has responded in petulance.

Voters aught to be reminded, that there is potential for this man to be sitting in the Oval Office, forming diplomacy, and carving the future of this nation. If he cannot handle the heat rightfully being put on him from his own party, will he be able to handle it from world leaders? Or will the next Cold War be fought with a nuclear stalemate, Twitter attacks and hashtags?
