There’s nothing more powerful than a good anti-patriarchal tweet these days. And this girl’s on it.

Suey Park made her national debut with the Washington Redskins controversy. When owner Dan Snyder created a foundation to benefit Native Americans, Stephen Colbert spoofed the approach. His show’s official Twitter account tweeted: “I am willing to show the Asian community I care by introducing the Ching-Chong Ding-Dong Foundation for Sensitivity to Orientals or Whatever.”

Suey Park responded: “#CancelColbert because white liberals are just as complicit in making Asian Americans into punchlines and we aren’t amused.”

One racial generalization for another. Atta girl. The hashtag campaign backfired, and ended up with her being a mockery of the Internet, and of Colbert himself, who never invited her on his show.

She blogs about being suppressed by “white supremacists” as a Korean American and has a public diary on Twitter where she shares her inner monologue about all things depressant.
