There’s Something Fishy About Gwyneth Paltrow’s New Vajayjay Candle

Have you ever walked into a musty room and thought, “you know, the smell of a fresh vagina would bring this room back to life”?

Thanks to GOOP and the mind of Gwyneth Paltrow, you can now make any room in your home smell like a woman’s lady parts. The candle was originally a joke between Paltrow and Douglas Little, a perfumer with the company’s “Heretic” line of fragrances, according to

The scent is crafted with geranium, citrusy bergamot blended with Damask rose and ambrette seed “to put us in the mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth,” according to GOOP’s website. The candle comes in a 10.5 oz size with a price tag of $75.00.

The price hasn’t scared away buyers in the least as the candle is currently sold out on GOOP’s website with a waiting list for customers who want to buy the product.

If you think this product is bizarre, it appears to fall in line with other products produced by GOOP. In 2018, GOOP settled a lawsuit for $145,000 related to “vagina eggs” that were marketed to help regulate female hormones and ease pain from menstrual cramps, according to The Daily Wire.

Twitter users have expressed their opinions regarding GOOP’s vagina scented candle, some of which have mocked the new product for its absurdity.

Others have expressed extreme disgust that the product even exists and that it is also currently sold out.

In a world where it is acceptable to have infinite genders, it is only logical that a candle smelling like a woman’s vagina would be all the rage for rich people with weird palates. The next question for the consumer would be, is this designed to smell pre or post a Summer’s Eve douche?
