White Dude Who Named Himself Cesar Chavez Gets Kicked Off Arizona Ballot

Former Republican Cesar Chavez, formerly Scott Fistler, has been removed from the ballot for office in Arizona after descendants of the famous Cesar Chavez sued to have him ejected. Fistler, now Chavez, was removed from the Democratic primary ballot after his signatures were found to be invalid.

Vowing to fight the case to the Supreme Court, Chavez was accused of changing to names to allegedly defraud voters. But hey, if voters are that stupid to vote for someone just because of their name, don’t they sort of deserve what they get?

Wait. This all sounds very familiar. Hasn’t this happened before? Yes! Yes it has! White guy Dave Wilson successfully campaigned for office and won his race tricking voters into thinking he was a black man. Genius!
