Are People Serious About Fighting “Slut Shaming”? (VIDEO)

Who are you calling a slut?

WASHINGTON, D.C – Token Libertarian Girl Julie Borowski took on the issue of shaming and bullying in her latest video where she criticizes the “victim” society.

Borowski referred to a photo where a fitness mother named Maria Kang asked people, “What’s your excuse” in order to motivate them to work out. The online community lashed out at her, and accused her of “fat shaming”, even though it was just a simple marketing campaign designed to help people. The Libertarian Republic reported on this and has been asking our readers to weigh in on whether “fat people should feel ashamed“.

Borowski described the video content thusly: “Slut” shaming, “fat” shaming, and general bullying have been topics in the news lately. What should be done about bullying? Do we need a law to stop it? I discuss my views on bullying and shaming in this video.

  1. None of these things exist. “Slut-shaming,” and “fat shaming” are just bastardized terms created in an attempt to get people to stop saying anything that might be construed as offensive. There is nothing in our laws that guarantee anyone the right to not be offended. People need to grow the fuck up.

  2. She made a fair point… I wish she wasn’t making it in that voice. But even so, I appreciate that not everyone jumps on board with the anti-bullying propaganda. I, as a child, was CONSTANTLY a victim of bullying… and I mean physical violence, not some cruel words on a social network. Anyone with eyes could see no legislation can be truly effective in terms of dictating peoples attitude.

  3. A slut is someone who has more sex than you do. I wouldn’t want to shame someone for that. I would want to befriend them and learn the secret of how they do that.
