Heckler Confronts Obama Over Immigration (VIDEO)

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – President Barack Obama was interrupted by a heckler at a speech today in California. The man shouted, “Our families are separated. I need your help” from directly behind the president.

“That’s what we’re talking about,” Obama turned to the heckler and said.

“Please, use your executive order to halt deportations for all 11.5 [million] undocumented immigrants in this country,” the protester says. “You have a power to stop deportations for all undocumented families.”

“Actually, I don’t,” Obama replies. “And that’s why we’re here.”

The heckler inspired a group to break into a chant saying, “stop deportations” while the president tried to get back to his speech. Obama then directed for security to leave the heckler saying, “If, in fact, I could solve all these problems without passing laws in Congress, then I would do so.”
