I honestly don’t think either of these candidates could have an intelligent conversation about the Fed. Despite his Wharton education and dropping the term, “currency manipulation,” every chance he gets, Trump doesn’t seem to understand—even in a cursory way—the failed Keynesian macroeconomics employed by the Federal Reserve to manipulate our economy. If asked any probing questions on what her economic policies might consist of, Clinton will jump to raising the minimum wage and how we can best make sure that everyone goes to college. These are not economic policies—they’re bribes to voters.

So the institution that has a monumental effect on all of our lives will go unquestioned. Its mission will go unchallenged and its lack of efficacy will go ignored.
