There might be a question thrown out there about how a President Trump or a President Clinton would handle Edward Snowden.  Trump will predictably say he should be executed, and Hillary will say he should come home and face the music, perhaps softly indicting him with espionage.

But will they address the NSA’s vast metadata collection? Hardly. If Clinton discusses this, it may lead some people to wonder if the NSA has her 33,000 lost emails—and she doesn’t want to bring that up. Candidate Trump is likely to brush it off and say, “Fuggettaboutit!”
