Police released the dashcam video today of the North Carolina shooting of a 70-year-old man by a police officer who thought the man was reaching for a shotgun. Video contradicts what police claimed happened during a press conference after the incident.
The officer is heard telling the victim to drop a gun after already firing on the 70-year-old man.
The county sheriff claims that if he had been in the officer’s position, he would have acted in the same manner.
