TSA determines passenger’s luggage isn’t a bomb, they take it and detonate it anyway!

BIRMINGHAM – Last Sunday the TSA cleared the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport of any suspicious activity after a report of luggage that looked like a pipe bomb, AL.com reports. The luggage was not declared missing, it was owned by a passenger who was traveling to Dallas. Someone reported that his bag looked like a pipe bomb and then the authorities instituted an evacuation of the airport.

The ATF, the FBI and the TSA were called to investigate the passenger’s bag but they determined that it was not an explosive device. The passenger claims he uses the device for his work but that didn’t seem to faze authorities. The passenger was released to go to Dallas without his package which the government decided to remotely detonate as a precaution.
