Did you miss the first presidential debate? Did you participate in the debate blackout? Don’t worry, you didn’t miss anything. It was bad enough Gary Johnson wasn’t there to bring up the issues libertarians would love to hear about. It made it almost unbearable how the two duopoly candidates didn’t provide any real substance to the issues. To make matters worse, they shown their full blown statist ideas. Here are the four moments that libertarians hate the most about the first presidential debate.
4. When Donald Trump started whining about ‘But muh roads! What about muh bridges?!’…
And it was so.
Donald Trump made it clear that he is so concerned about how the roads and bridges are being built. While I do agree on the inadequacy of the public sector ever being able to do anything right, I took this as Trump thinks spending more tax money on the roads will help. This is actually very odd coming from a “Republican.” But just being a Republican doesn’t make you conservative.
