WHITE COUNTY, GA – After Shannon Hamilton lost his daughter in a tragic accident last March, he decided to take some initiative on himself so that other people wouldn’t have to suffer as he did. But the government doesn’t like it when people do that.
Hamilton’s daughter Cecily Hamilton, and her friend Taylor Swing, were killed when their car flew over the guardrails of the bridge. After the incident, the White County Commissioners voted to install new guardrails, but Hamilton claims they weren’t acting fast enough. He took the initiative to install new temporary guardrails at the site, was arrested at the Gene Nix Road bridge.
Cecily’s brother, Kale Hamilton, said that “White county wants to take their time in getting this accomplished so my dad did it for them.”
Shannon Hamilton, Cecily’s father, said as he was being arrested, “It’s sad, it’s sad the community of the grieving parents have to make things happen when the White County Roads Department can’t do it.”
No word yet on what charges have been filed.
My dad, Shannon Hamilton, was arrested today for attempting to put up temporary barricades on the gene nix Rd. Bridge. White county wants to take their time in getting this accomplished so my dad did it for them. Unfortunately white county wasn’t going to allow him. It’s a shame that because someone is concerned about the safety of others after loosing his daughter that the law can arrest them. This video is what’s going to be the change to all this. I love you dad, your doing a great thing and I’m so proud of you! BRING IT FOR CEC EVERYONE! Spread the word about this video and lets get it viral! Brandi Poole Alicia Hamilton Haley Webb

by Micah J. Fleck It’s good to know exactly where our tax dollars are going. Unfortunately, the latest investment made by the government with said money will be unknown to pretty everyone except those of us whose job it is to follow politics and policy and foreign affairs. You see, in an attempt to maintain…
This article started out to be a well-researched effort to identify all the legal avenues available to parents to force teachers unions and the teachers we pay every week back to teaching our children in a classroom. My research found there is very little that parents/taxpayers can do to make teachers work for their money….
