Health Secretary Facing Mounting Calls To Resign
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is being called to testify this week on the failures of the government’s health care website tasked with delivering Obamacare. She is resisting mounting calls for her to step down. But as the data center for the site crashed over the weekend rendering the site useless, and with congressional pressure rising, will the president ask her to resign?

Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) appeared on Fox News to state that he believes that Sebelius is the ‘laughingstock of America’ after a Saturday Night Live skit recently lampooned her and the rollout of Healthcare.gov.

Thirty-three House Republicans sent a letter to President Barack Obama asking him for the resignation of the Health Secretary. Tennessee GOP Rep. Marsha Blackburn said that Sebelius will testify this week, “before she’s out the door.”
The administration is under intense pressure to fix the $364 million dollar website that cost 3 years to build, with ten-year-old technology, which it outsourced to Michelle Obama’s cronies in Canada.
Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) says that the website is “improving every day.”
