Mom Beats Son With Wire Hanger, Gets Off Because Police Agree Son Was “Naughty Boy”

CHINA – Being a male will net you all sorts of privileges in this world. Whether it’s being drafted off to war, being last in the lifeboat or dying a full decade earlier than women, one thing’s for sure: It sure is great being a male.

That’s why when one little boy was mauled with a wire coat hanger for not doing his homework, the mother got off scot-free because police agreed that he was indeed a “naughty boy.”

Xiao Bing‘s slash wounds were noticed by a teacher when he was changing shirts for sporting practice. The wounds were reported to authorities who claimed that the injuries weren’t as bad as they looked and the mother would not be arrested. The police did warn her not to beat her child so severely in the future.

Police spokesman Hu Lung said. “The boy’s mother and father are unhappy about his performance at school, saying that he is a naughty boy who often fails to do his homework and needed to be taught a lesson.”

Meanwhile in the United States, a Kansas City father was arrested for allegedly beating his son for not performing in school. Police report that the boy was whipped with a belt and there were bruises on the boy’s arm and leg.

Capt. Tye Grant of the Kansas City Police Department said, “What we look at, as far as maybe a criminal act instead of a disciplinary situation, is if marks are left on children in places that there shouldn’t be marks. If the discipline went to the extent that it caused injuries, that’s when it started to get into the criminal side of it.”
