Video Emerges of U.S. Special Forces Torturing a Man (VIDEO)

Rolling Stone magazine has released a video that reportedly shows American and Afghan  soldiers torturing and interrogating a prisoner. The video was secured from Afghan social media pages, but was quickly removed. The Afghan soldiers are holding down the man who screams in Kandahari-accented Pashto. He yells “Oh my father” as he is whipped.

The soldiers in the video have yet to be individually identified, but are most likely U.S. Special Forces. The uniforms that they are wearing did not emerge until 2010. The Army has reportedly begun an investigation into the incident.

The main detention facilities in Afghanistan have been transferred to local control, but American military units can hold detainees for tactical questioning up to two weeks.

Some soldiers are defending the practice. “Unless you’ve been in combat and had people who want to shoot you in the face, you can’t understand what it’s like,” one special forces officer said. “There’s a reason that they say that war is hell. Because it is hell.”

We’re supposed to be better than the enemy.

JW Mack November 7, 2013 at 8:03 pm

We are. We go after the combatants, not Innocent civilians (women and children) like the little pussy muslims do.

Austin Petersen November 7, 2013 at 8:03 pm

So much for “exceptionalism”.

John November 7, 2013 at 8:12 pm

We are because they would have slit the throat of one of ours with a rusty bayonet or even a chain saw. This guy was just experiencing pain, not even blood.

Patek November 7, 2013 at 8:35 pm

Last time I checked, it was CIA, British special forces and NATO training and arming bloodthirsty neck-slitting pro-Al Qaeda jihadists in Lybia and Syria.

FNLED November 11, 2013 at 8:56 pm

Slit the throat of one of ours?

That’s pretty presumptive? No?

Robert Wyatt Bogart November 7, 2013 at 11:23 pm

The only way to be better, is to be more violent than they are!

David Cartier November 7, 2013 at 8:03 pm

Those are Germans. And they weren’t even breaking the skin. The best way to get Afghans to talk is to scare them. The pain they don’t mind so much.

Mark Schlager November 7, 2013 at 8:07 pm

And because of this video thousand more innocent American/European will be slaughtered and raped by Islamic invaders.

david November 7, 2013 at 8:09 pm

wow that was terrible he got his ass whooped

Ivan Rohde November 7, 2013 at 8:45 pm

I’m sorry but that doesn’t break my heart. That’s torture? Really?

Mike November 7, 2013 at 10:37 pm

Taking turns inflicting pain on a shackled man is pretty much torture, yeah. Is this the same as ripping off finger nails electrocuting genitals and simulated drowning? No. But it’s certainly cut from the same cloth.
And, if history is any guide, anyone willing to inflict this kind of pain on a prisoner isn’t too far away from doing the types of things I just listed.

Jason S November 7, 2013 at 11:26 pm

Let it happen to you, then ask if it’s torture.

Ivan Rohde November 8, 2013 at 12:03 am

Take that bleeding heart shit somewhere else; I’ve whipped my kids’ ass worse than that. And no Mike, I’ve never had the urge to electrocute someones’ genitelia.

Johnny November 8, 2013 at 12:42 am

All you are admitting with that comment about your parenting is that you are an emotionally retarded person (not in the derogatory sense of the word, but in that fact that you are emotionally stunted). And, you are admitting you’re an asshole. I have six kids and I’ve never had to hit them because my IQ is above that of a dog’s. Check yourself dumbass, before you admit to the whole world how truly stupid you are, and how inept of a parent you are. Our military shouldn’t be there in the first place, and if this was a video of an Afghani doing this to an American soldier, you would rightly be indignant. War is hell and should be avoided at all costs, which our government is NOT doing.

Ivan Rohde November 8, 2013 at 1:21 am

Yeehaw for you, you don’t whip your kids. I’m willing to bet they’ll grow up to be complete fucktards. See what I did there? We can throw insults all day. I also have six kids and I’m damned proud of all of them. I haven’t had to spank any of them in years because they know I will. Glad you think you’re qualified to psychoanalyze us though; or tell me how to raise my kids for that matter, don’t know what we would do without your expert fucking input. Also, I’m not arguing we shouldn’t be there in the first place; my whole point was that this was much ado about nothing. Dude got his ass whipped; big fucking deal. It’s been my experience that people that brag about their IQ’s are generally dumbasses. Thanks for helping to make my point. Dumbass.

Yes, you should never spank your child…. and yet the young generation is considered to be whiny little brats who expect everything given to them. Who are not used to being told no. Wonder why these mass shootings are generally early 20s white kids? Maybe it is because these kids have been sheltered and pampered for 20 years and then they get into the real world and realize there are no participation trophies and bosses won’t let them do whatever they want. Why don’t you just go stick your nose in the corner, since that works so well for you.

Jared Metcalf November 8, 2013 at 5:31 am

I am sorry but I have no problem with a smack to a childs ass; my personal preference and that is how I was raised BUT if you have beat your childs ass worse than that then you sir are an abusive parent and have no business raising a child. Like I said you wanna whoop them with your hand go ahead I may even turn my head if their momma takes a belt to their ass once or twice but to flog them with a cord repeatedly is abuse.

Ivan Rohde November 8, 2013 at 11:09 pm

First off, unless I’m causing permanent damage to them it’s no one else s’ business how I raise my kids. Secondly, HYPBERBOLE! Sweet Weepin’ Mama Christ what is wrong with you people. My oldest haven’t had a spanking in years cuz they know I will. The youngest is only four so he’s still learning. Everybody is missing the fucking point; I see nothing in that video identifying American soldiers/agents, that is IMNSHO NOT torture and third if they’re not American it’s none of our fucking business. Jumping Jesus did I wander into the crying ass liberal page without knowing it? And BTW Jared, I don’t need nor care to have your approval so take yourself down to the corner store, walk back to the cooler, pay the cashier and have yourself a nice cold can of mind your own fucking business. Again, hyperbole…..

Well there’s some flawless logic! That quote could just as easily have come from a terrorist about to plant an I.E.D.

Scotty D November 7, 2013 at 10:22 pm

I suppose we should give every inhumane act a pass because apparently everyone seems to want to shoot someone in the face. We fought to turn fascism away 70 years ago. Now our armed forces seem to embrace it.

murphmobile November 8, 2013 at 3:53 am

How is that in any way fascist?

If a foreign country invaded the U.S. and did the things you bastards are doing over there, you can bet we would be trying to shoot them in the face too. Get the f@ck out of there, you immoral @ssholes.

murphmobile November 13, 2013 at 4:41 am

You might notice that it was Afghans beating Afghans….

Robert Wyatt Bogart November 7, 2013 at 11:23 pm

The are illegal combatants, they deserve no rights

Wesley Bruce November 8, 2013 at 12:55 am

Standard punishment for drinking in a Moslem country and the uniforms are standard in the country for some Afghan units. Modernising an army also includes supplying uniforms that can’t be forged by the enemy. Nothing in the video meets that standard. This could be an army unit or police or even Taliban with a few captured uniforms and a shaver. Note there were asking no questions. This was made as a warning of punishment to drinkers.

Dredge November 8, 2013 at 2:08 am

How is this at all attributable to the US? Personally, I would have gone for a bigger stick.

Bobby Ponder November 8, 2013 at 3:53 am

Wow, I am not going to lose one second of sleep knowing Haji has been leaned on by the special forces of the United States.

FNLED November 11, 2013 at 8:38 pm

You’re a so called Christian,right?

Bobby Ponder November 12, 2013 at 5:21 am

You seem to have a problem with induction. A typical liberal that falls into to line with and protects a group of people that believe that all gays should die, woman that even show their legs should be treated to a nice stone shower, and if anyone insults their precious Allah then death to them all. No, I hate all religions seeing that they all seem to either come back around to complete fanatic behavior. If you like, liberal, why don’t you listen to some youtube debates by Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, and Daniel Dennett. Not just Islam, but all religion needs to just go away with it’s ability to make good people do bad things. Grow up liberal and see the damage these fucking retards are going to do if they get a hold in this country.

murphmobile November 8, 2013 at 4:00 am

I saw Uzbeks beating on a Pashto. Lashes are a standard punishment. Oh how inhumane! I saw some Western soldiers observing it. It’s probably going to really freak you out to know that Western legal experts also observe Afghan judicial punishment. This is a non-starter. Afghans have been running the show over there for a while now

Ben Enjerry November 8, 2013 at 5:44 am

I grew up in the 50’s. My parents did that to me all the time.

Camron Wiltshire November 8, 2013 at 7:38 am

It’s hell because you are working for the devil idiots! Stop using your slavish religious belief in the state to explain away your sins. You are responsible for your own behavior! 9/11 is a fucking lie! Rethink911.com for those with enough wisdom to see through the empire.

The Constitution only protects U S citizens and the Geneva Convention only protects UNIFORMED ENEMY COMBATANTS == unless the man is from one of those two groups he has no protections that i recognize == so i don’t care

FNLED November 11, 2013 at 8:51 pm

You’re a good man of God.

Bobby Ponder November 12, 2013 at 5:28 am

Hey David, so if I appeared in that video and pulled my trusty K-Bar and dug out all his teeth and eyes with it, will the Geneva Convention do what? These morons need that type of attention and if we redeployed there with full scale invasion and lit that place on fire with full theater warfare the rag heads would be done with Allah in no time and would be praying to my M4A1 Carbine “Flat-Top”

murphmobile November 13, 2013 at 4:50 am

The Constitution restrains the US Federal Government.

bonerjones7 November 8, 2013 at 10:14 am

These U.S. soldier cunts. What a shame to our country you bearded pricks are. It’s no wonder the world hates us with these losers representing us abroad. You (SEALS, Green Berets, Delta Force, etc) fucks are cowards, beating a man tied down on the ground. You have no fucking integrity. I hope you are as mercilessly beaten someday, as well as your families. Did you get your 20 year pension (supplied by the taxpayer) is the question? It’s no wonder people shoot at you.

murphmobile November 13, 2013 at 4:42 am

You’re apparently too stupid to comprehend what you watched. I saw Afghans beating another Afghan. What did you see?

maston375B November 8, 2013 at 1:12 pm

he was spanked with a belt and you call that torture? shit, all of my generation and the generations before me were then “tortured” all of our childhoods….you pussy ass liberals make me sick….come see me and I’ll show you what REAL torture is

fuzznarf November 8, 2013 at 1:21 pm

On Obama’s watch!!! The libs said the same about Bush and Abu Ghraid. So i assume that at any moment they will be blaming Obama for this also? Especially since beating someone with an extension cord is a lot more painful than a dog snarling in your face.

FNLED November 11, 2013 at 8:34 pm

Sure.
A lot more than just “The libs” said this was more than underwear on the head and dogs snarling in their face.

Ridiculous: these are Afghans interrogating afghans, that’s how they do business. The US folks are hanging in the back, because they have no authority to interfere with how their partner force does business, all they can do is assist if the detainee has a medical issue and report what they see up in their chain. Afghans are in lead, this is what you wanted people, this is how the real world works.
