Top 4 Reasons It’s Time To Stop Sh***ing On Millennials

4. Their Sense of Purpose

I dare you to tell a Millennial that they can’t make a difference in this world, and that their lone voice will never affect real change. Yeah, see how THAT goes over. Millennials not only want to change the world, but they feel responsible to do so. The pie in the sky appears bigger to a Millennial than it does to a Gen X’er or a Baby Boomer. What does that mean? It means that there is more at stake, and more to gain. Thankfully young people want to grab that pie…and usually they want to share it. There is a tremendous desire on the part of Millennials to make a positive impact on the world, and I’m not just talking about making horned rim glasses popular again, but a primal instinct to make a dent in the universe. It is a blessing and a curse to them, and they would admit that. It’s hard to quantify this important quality of Millennials, but the closest thing you can do to measure it is by asking a Millennial how many people they would like to influence or help…and don’t be surprised by the answer you’ll get when they say “All of them.”
