Three Women Kidnapped and Terrorized Their Own 6-Year-Old Boy To Teach Him Fear of Strangers

TROY, MO – Three women from a Missouri family were arrested after they arranged the kidnapping and terrorizing of their six-year-old relative to teach him a fear of strangers. The ladies allegedly believed that the boy was “too nice” and wanted to make sure he learned a harsh lesson about the world. I guess they succeeded.

The women arranged fro the kidnapping through another party, Nathan Firoved, who lured the child into his truck when he got off the bus. Firoved then told him he would never see his mommy again, and that he was going to be nailed to the wall of a shed.

38-year-old Denise Kroutil, mother, Elizabeth Hupp, 25, grandmother, Rose Brewer, 58, and Firoved were all arrested and charged with felony kidnapping as well as other crimes. The boy is now in protective custody and the four monsteres are being held on a $250,000 cash-only bond.

The kidnapping lasted approximately four hours, which saw the boy threatened with a gun, his hands and feet bound and his face covered. His aunt then removed his pants and told him he would be sold into sex slavery. Later, the boy was taken upstairs and given a lecture about stranger danger.

“Family members told investigators their primary intent was to educate the victim and felt they did nothing wrong,” the police report said.
