Irony: Revenge Porn Slimeball Demands Pictures Of Him Be Taken Down

Revenge porn slimeball Craig Brittain has filed takedown requests to Google demanding they remove photographs of him that he claims were posted without his consent.

Brittain’s website Isanybodydown.com was blocked by the FTC after he boasted of raking in $3,000 a month from his website where he posted nude photographs of women, often without their knowledge or permission.

An investigation into his activities revealed that he would often troll craigslist in order to get women to send him nude photographs, and would then extort them by demanding up to $500 in order to take the photographs of them down.

Brittain is now demanding that Google destroy links to articles that contain photographs of him without his consent. Sadly for him, the First Amendment covers free speech in cases like this, where someone is now a public news story. Journalists are free to posts as many photographs of him as they like.

Ars Technica writer David Kravets said about the DMCA take-down requests filed that, “In this instance, fair use and general First Amendment principles are on Google’s and the media’s side.”
