Extraordinary Colorized WW2 Footage Emerges From German Side (VIDEO, GRAPHIC)

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

An online video producer has been searching for rare and uncommon video clips from World War 2 in order to colorize them and broadcast to the public. The Libertarian Republic has featured some of their work before when they debuted a series of clips from the War in the Pacific. [contextly_sidebar id=”f87d5316f775e5287a140a95ea394fb2″]

Now they’ve gotten ahold of scenes from the German side of the war and colorized the footage to give viewers a more realistic looking account of the battles fought by the forces of National Socialism in Europe. The footage is colorized and brought to you in high-definition, providing a very graphic account of the war.

I think all war film should be colorized. But for heavens sake, if we are going that far, tank the sound track and replace it with real war sounds.

What a waste of time. Surely, there is something better for these people to be doing.

The top photograph accompanying the headline.. is of reenactors, not a period wartime picture.
