Gunman Kills Five at Gun-Free Zone in Burlington, WA

It would seem that gun-free zones once again fail to actually be free of guns, as a Macy’s department store inside a larger shopping mall was victim to a lone gunman attack that killed five people. No motive has been determined yet, and the gunman as of this writing is still on the loose.

According to a recent report:

There were reports of a man walking into a Macy’s at the mall armed with an assault rifle and opening fire at around 7.30pm on Friday evening.

Terrified shoppers ran for safety and hid in various stores.

The mall was put into lockdown and police are now conducting a store-by-store search for people.

Many have been told to remain “in shelter” while police continue to ensure the scene is safe.

A suspect was seen leaving towards a nearby highway.

There were later reports of a man trying to carjack a vehicle at a red light.

The shooting comes less than a week after a man stabbed nine people at a mall in central Minnesota before being shot dead.

The FBI is investigating that attack as a potential act of terrorism.

Washington State Patrol have said that there is no indication of terrorism in the shooting in Burlington.

The CCTV footage provided the aforementioned ethnic description of the shooter, as well as the gun he was carrying.

Expect another statement from the president saying we should ban yet another make of gun in the coming days.
