Hillary Clinton’s Top 7 Most Ridiculous and Absurd Lies

By: Daniel Stephens

What is Hillary Clinton most known for? Is it her husband — Former President Bill Clinton? Perhaps her tenure as Secretary of State or Senator from New York? Her exemplary “public service?” Seriously though — it’s her habitual lying. This woman cannot stop lying and lying about lying and lying — and Americans don’t trust her. According to recent polling data, 68% of Americans believe that Hillary Clinton is untrustworthy and the 30% of people who do think she is trustworthy … are liars themselves.

What has she lied about you might be asking? Let’s get this party started.

#7 – SNIPER FIRE

In 2008, Hillary was running against president Obama in the Democratic primary. In order to bolster her foreign policy credentials and her overall “toughness,” she told a story about her visit to Bosnia, and how on her arrival, sniper fire forced them to run with their heads down from the plane to their vehicles. No meetings, no greeting time. They ran with their heads down to the vehicles. The problem with this is that the whole thing was captured on video. Did Mrs. Clinton just not see that there were cameras present? Did she conveniently forget? Or was she counting on her gross underestimation of the entire population of the US to look into her little fibs? CBS did this television news story exposing Clinton’s misappropriation of the truth.

#6 – REJECTED FROM THE MARINES

In a 2015 interview, Hillary told reporters a story of how she went into a Marine recruiting office to join the lauded US military force and was rejected because “she was too old.” Back in 1994, Maureen Dowd, of the New York Times, wrote a piece examining Hillary’s original claim noting these conflicting facts:

  1. At the time, Hillary Rodham was an up-and-coming legal star involved with an up-and-coming political star.
  2. She had made a celebrated appearance in Life magazine as an anti-establishment commencement speaker at Wellesley College, where, as president of the student government, she had organized teach-ins on her opposition to the Vietnam War.
  3. She was a Yale law school graduate who had worked on the anti-war Presidential campaigns of Eugene J. McCarthy and George McGovern.
  4. Mrs. Clinton told friends that she had moved to Arkansas for only one reason: to be with Bill Clinton.
  5. The Clintons married on Oct. 11, 1975, in Fayetteville.

Why would an anti-war, Yale Law School graduate, about to be married that same year, go into a recruiting office to join the Marines? Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler speculated that, while it is possible Clinton went into a recruiting office, if she did, it was for a political purpose and she had no intention of actually joining the Marines. Overall, he gave the claim two Pinocchios.

#5 – SIR EDMUND HILLARY

For years, Hillary Clinton claimed to be named after famous mountaineer Edmund Hillary. Former president Bill Clinton even mentioned the story in his 2004 autobiography. Hillary met Sir Edmund in 1995 and shortly thereafter made the comment that her mother had named her after him. “It had two l’s, which is how she thought she was supposed to spell Hillary,” Mrs. Hillary said after the meeting. “So when I was born, she called me Hillary, and she always told me it’s because of Sir Edmund Hillary.”

One problem. Edmund Hillary did not become famous until after he became the first to climb to the summit of Mt. Everest in 1953 — six years after Hillary Clinton was born.

#4 – BEING DEAD BROKE

In an interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer, Clinton, when asked about her multi-million dollar earnings, claimed that when she and Bill left the White house, they were “dead broke.” She went on to say they “really struggled” to “put together mortgages for,” and notice the plural here, “houses.” Not one house — houses.

Politifact, a left-leaning fact check organization, rendered this verdict on Clinton’s claim:

A few weeks before they left the White House, the Clintons were able to muster a cash down payment of $855,000 and secure a $1.995 million mortgage. This hardly fits the common meaning of “dead broke.” We rate the claim Mostly False.

#3 – DEFENDING CHILD RAPIST SHE BELIEVED TO BE GUILTY

In 1975, a 27 year old lawyer (Hillary) defended a 41 year old factory worker who was accused of raping a 12 year old girl. Clinton won the case. In 2014, a recorded interview with Secretary of State Clinton was discovered from the mid-80’s. She is heard discussing and laughing about how her efforts got a guy who was obviously guilty (of raping a 12 year old girl) off the hook. Here is the transcript of her laughing in that interview.

The victim of the rape (and of Hillary’s facilitation of a “miscarriage of justice”) recently called out Clinton for lying about her during the case in order to help a man, who even Hillary believed was guilty, get away with the crime.

#2 – BENGHAZI ATTACK

On September 11th, 2012, Islamic militants attacked the US embassy in Libya, killing a number of Americans including US Ambassador Chris Stevens — the first US Ambassador killed in the line of duty since 1979. Then Secretary of State Clinton, in a statement following the event, began laying down a party line about a disrespectful “internet video” being responsible for spontaneously generating a mob-like effort against the embassy . However, she told her daughter, Chelsea, in an email the night of the event, that an Al Qaeda like group was responsible for the attack.

The next day, she told the Egyptian prime minister this: “We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack. Not a protest.” And yet she came out and told the American people something very different (opposite actually) — a fabricated story about a video. The families of the victims in Benghazi have also reported that Hillary lied to them personally about the circumstances surrounding their loved ones deaths.

#1 – EMAIL SERVER SCANDAL

In 2015, the public became aware that Hillary Clinton had procured and utilized her own private email server during her tenure as Secretary of State. An investigation was undertaken by the FBI in order to assess whether or not Secretary Clinton acted lawfully by doing so and examining possibly breaches of national security information. What followed from Hillary Clinton was an astonishing display of hubris and — you guessed it — lying, lying, and more lying.
