Jeb Bush: “I have libertarian blood in my veins!”

Speaking to a crowd of Republicans, presidential candidate Jeb Bush attempted to convince the crowd that he has “libertarian blood running through his veins.”

A Quinnipiac University poll shows Donald Trump receiving 28% support from registered Republicans voters in the 17-member field. The next closest would be Ben Carson, who came in at 12%. Only 7% said they would vote for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

Trump has described Bush harshly: “He’s a man that doesn’t want to be doing what he’s doing,” Trump said. “I call him the reluctant warrior, and warrior’s probably not a good word. I think Bush is an unhappy person. I don’t think he has any energy.”

Bush’s advisors have warned him not to attack Trump from the left on immigration, but the Bush family has always been more libertarian on the immigration issue. Jeb suffered in the eyes of Republican voters when he empathized with illegals, arguing  that when illegal immigrants come to America to feed their children that, “It’s an act of love. It’s an act of commitment to your family.”
