WATCH: Woman Throws A Shoe At Hillary Clinton

A woman was taken into custody after he threw a shoe at Hillary Clinton while she gave a speech in Las Vegas. The incident occurred at an Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries meeting at the Mandalay Bay resort.

Clinton ducked and did not appear to be hit. She then joked, “Is that somebody throwing something at me? Is that part of Cirque de Soleil?” She later added: “My goodness, I didn’t know that solid waste management was so controversial,” Clinton said. “Thank goodness she didn’t play softball like I did.”

The woman who threw the shoe was unidentified but was apparently not an attendee of the conference. There is no word on whether security made any arrests.
