Saturday Night Live did the nation a favor this past weekend by lampooning President Barack Obama and his healthcare plan. Televising a fake presidential address, the show featured a young woman who was really excited about the implementation. “I am psyched for Obamacare!” she says. “Because now that I have free health care I can get sick all the time! Woot! Free medicine y’all! I’ve stopped washing my hands and I’m licking hella subway poles! Thanks president!”
Then they trot out a father and son combo to talk about healthcare coverage for kids of insured parents. The dad says, “Wow! I am so relieved my dumb, lazy son has full healthcare coverage! We kept telling him ‘Hey idiot! You have to have a job to get healthcare coverage!”
