Newsreel Site Uploads Massive Historical Video Archive To The Public (VIDEOS)

A British newsreel archive has uploaded a massive archive of historical events for the public. The videos range from the iconic to the bizarre and reveal a fascinating glimpse into society from the 1890’s until today.

General Manager of British Pathé Alastair White said, “Our hope is that everyone, everywhere who has a computer will see these films and enjoy them. This archive is a treasure trove unrivaled in historical and cultural significance that should never be forgotten. Uploading the films to YouTube seemed like the best way to make sure of that.”
