A Catholic college’s campus ministry recently expressed support for a student protest that compared cops to the Ku Klux Klan.
Loyola University Chicago’s Campus Ministry praised the student protest over its Facebook and Twitter pages, reports The College Fix.

“Proud and humbled by the die-in some of our black students did today,” the group wrote on both social media sites. It also included the hashtags #BlackLivesMatter #livingthemission.
The Campus Ministry seeks to give students the chance to “discern their gifts and talents in light of God’s calling,” according to its webpage.
Black Students Matter LUC arranged the protest. The group called for an immediate end to police brutality.
The demonstration included a die-in in which students laid on the ground for about 20 minutes; one student held a sign reading “Blue Klux Klan.” After they got up, they raised their fists in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
In the late afternoon, the students gathered again to protest, discuss police brutality and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emaunel’s latest suggestion to add 1,000 police officers to the Chicago Police Department as part of an effort to fight rising crime in the city.
One student carried a sign reading “AmeriKKa is not welcome #blackoutchi #1000pigs #leavemethefuckalone.”
The crowd also chanted, “Show me what democracy looks like, this is what democracy looks like,” and, “Back up, back up, we want freedom, freedom, all these racist-a — cops, we don’t need em, need em.”
