Bringing the war home: Dallas police now have bulletproof ‘mine-protected’ SUV

More Mayberry! Less Fallujah!

After the Department of Defense wasted trillions of dollars in the Middle East over the last decade, they decided to finally put some of their military hardware to good use… by deploying it at home.

A MRAP (Mine-Resistant-Ambush-Protected) vehicle will be delivered to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department to help deploy against the domestic war on crime. Deputy James Blesoe was reportedly very excited to deploy the vehicle claiming that it “exceeded expectations”.

This is not the first case of military hardware being brought home to be used against citizens. The city of Concord in New Hampshire has requested similar armored personnel carriers to deploy against potential “domestic terrorist” groups such as the libertarian Free State Project.

“Having a tactical vehicle will not only provide warrants execution with the equipment to assist in performing their jobs but will provide an overall safety arch,” Dallas Chief Deputy Marlin Suell said.

Citizens are looking forward to learning when police plan on fighting any sort of domestic insurgency that would require them to avoid mines.
