SWAT Team Called Over Gun Tattoo

NORRIDGEWOCK, ME – When Michael Smith went outside to yell at tree removers on his property without his shirt on after they woke him up, he never expected what came next. [contextly_auto_sidebar id=”UBkWsRU7Siv2wKR4mCjPztJRj3eei1fd”]

Just minutes after going back inside his house and falling back asleep, a Maine State SWAT team showed up and began banging on his door.

Mr. Smith has a tattoo of a gun on his waistline, and the workers had called the police and claimed the man had come out and confronted them with a gun.

“Obviously it was a misunderstanding and he didn’t have a weapon, but we had to respond to the initial report as if he did,” said a Maine police spokesman. “We take all precautions when we don’t have the details.”

“I got plans today. I didn’t want to get shot,” said Mr. Smith.

Fortunately, the heavily armed SWAT team held their fire.
