Kentucky’s Dynamic Duo Overheard Discussing Battle Strategy

Kentucky Senators Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell were overheard discussing the government shutdown, and the GOP strategy to force a compromise. Senator Paul is overheard relating to McConnell how the Democrats have put themselves in a bad position due to their unwillingness to compromise.

Republicans have put themselves into a very strong position by standing firm against the funding of Obamacare, even to the point of a temporary government shutdown. Democrat talking points have been to openly exclaim that they will not negotiate on the funding of the unpopular program. Paul and McConnell are overheard in this video revealing how the GOP strategy is working and how their opponents are failing at painting the shutdown as the fault of the GOP.
