Heroic Cat Saves Boy from Dog Attack (VIDEO)

Not every hero in The Libertarian Republic need be human. Tara Triantafilo, for example, is a cat – one with a dog-like sense of loyalty to her owners.

As a young boy played in his Bakersfield driveway on Tuesday, a vicious dog snuck up behind him, tearing at his leg, knocking him down and dragging him across the ground. Tara dashed into action, tackling the dog and then chasing it away. Security cameras captured the entire ordeal.

The boy required stitches, but mother Erika Triantafilo tells 23ABC that he is now doing fine.

This is the most awesome thing. I love cats. That dog needs to be put down.

No that dog needs to be rehabilitated, the owners of that dog that created it into a monster need to be put down, dogs are NOT inherently vicious they are MADE that way by ignorant abusive owners.

My mom’s old cat took a dog out when it bit my younger brother….never seen him move as fast as he did that day, like a furry lightning bolt and just slammed the dog into a wall and beat it down even though he had no claws….always knew he knew he was family but I never thought he would throw himself into the fray like that for us…..still love him even though he is in the after life now…..

The dog clearly needs to be disciplined and moved out of its current situation, but no one can say why the dog decided to attack, it could be the kid teased it earlier and it was still mad, could be its owners starved it and it thought “hey that looks like food”. seriously, just because of 1 attack doesn’t make the dog vicious, I had a dog that attacked a smaller dog, and after I punished the shit out of her she never did it again, its just instinct
