Two Detroit thugs had no idea what they were in for when they approached Paris Ainsworth, a 51-year-0ld grandma arriving home from a double shift at work.

Seeing the suspicious men coming towards her car, she slipped her .45 handgun into her pocket and exited the vehicle.

One of the thugs reportedly said, “Don’t pull it” just before shooting Ainsworth three times.

“I said, ‘You mother (expletive),’ and pulled out (my gun) and started shooting,” said Ainsworth in an interview.  Both suspects were shot and apprehended after turning up in the same hospital Ainsworth went for treatment after the shooting.

“He didn’t shoot me because he felt that I was going to shoot him,” said Ainsworth. “He didn’t care. He just shot. He didn’t look like, ‘Oh my God I shouldn’t have.’ He just had the devil in him.”

“If I wouldn’t have had my gun, I would be dead today,” she added.
