Then he maces him some more for good measure.
AMHERST, Mass. – Despite claims by the Amherst police chief that his officers worked “diligently and professionally” to disperse an enormous party over the weekend, a video of potential police brutality has come to light.
University of Massachusetts Student Government President Zac Broughton addressed the situation at a protest on Tuesday, saying, “We want to say while some of the behavior of some of the students was despicable and inappropriate, the behavior of some of the police officers was just as bad.”
Broughton demanded a “direct apology” from the department and an investigation into the “obscene” actions of certain officers.
According to Amherst police chief Scott Livingstone, “There’s nothing that concerns me about the action (during the event).”
