Bloomberg defends controversial new stop and kiss program (VIDEO)

“Shut the f**k up and let me kiss you!”

The Onion Magazine is known as America’s finest news source, and for good reason. The satirical news website has shamed presidents, popes and kings with their hilarious coverage of world events from the angle of the absurd.

Their latest news report details New York’s controversial new “stop and kiss” program, which is a hilarious satire on the “stop and frisk” program which angered civil rights activists due to the unfair application of the policy and unreliability of the program.

The New York Times reported: A Federal District Court ruled in August that the tactics underlying the program violated the rights of black and Hispanic citizens, who were disproportionately singled out. Data presented at trial showed that only 6 percent of the stops resulted in arrests.

Maybe they’d have done better if they had a “stop and kiss,” program instead?
