Women Brainstorm Ways to Emotionally Torment Men #WasteHisTime2016

Women have been all over Twittersphere trending #WasteHisTime2016 hashtag for the start of the new year. Naturally, not everyone is celebrating the popular, but childish and somewhat sociopathic behavior.

Although the origin of said trend is not known, it appears that it is a response to trends that irked feminists such as “Tinder’s swipe-right culture” and “ghosting” (when you ignore someone you’ve been dating as a method of breaking up with them). Whatever the reasons, we now have this contagion that infects social media.

Women brainstorming ways to “waste his time” really reads like a conspiracy to emotionally torment as many men as possible.

Thankfully, not everyone is amused by these diabolical suggestions. In fact, many negative responses came from women.

This did not go on without blowback, however. In the spirit of gender equality, behold the #WasteHerTime2016 hashtag!

You knew that it was coming.

As funny as some of these may seem, it is a harsh indicator of our current culture and how each gender views and treats the other.
