Creators Seth Froom and Simon Simone pioneered the invention after Froom was robbed and couldn’t defend himself.

It’s not legal in New York or New Jersey, but there’s a pepper spray version that is. Spraytect is a smartphone case that includes a removable pepper spray cartridge. Citizens can now easily store their self defense mechanism right in their mobile phones.
