Video Shows Officer Allegedly Planting Drugs on Suspect (VIDEO)

ST. LOUIS, MO – A recent decision by a judge to throw out evidence in a drug case reveals that sometimes police really might be planting drugs on suspects. A police dashcam video shows Jeremy Eden being arrested and an object falling as Officer Ronald Vaughn searches Eden. He was later charged with possession of Alprazolam and misdemeanor assault of an officer.

The judge dropped the charges and dismissed the drug evidence after reviewing the tape. The judge claimed that the “Court finds credibility of police officer is questionable …”. She did not comment directly on whether she believed the evidence was planted.  Eden is now suing for the months he spent in jail due to the arrest.

In this video, Eden is heard saying to the officer, “You had that bag on you. I gave you consent to search, I don’t know why you are doing this to me.”
