*VIDEO* Police Allow “Mutual Combat” on streets of Seattle

Phoenix Jones is a former Mixed Martial Artist who patrols the streets of Seattle dressed as a superhero to perform a neighborhood watch.

A self proclaimed “superhero” by the name of Phoenix Jones knocked a man out during a fight in Seattle, Washington early Friday morning. Police officers on the scene allowed the man to fight an opponent who threatened to follow home the former MMA fighter and self anointed neighborhood watchman. For those who aren’t familiar with the story of Phoenix Jones, more information is available here.

Around 6:00 in the video, the leather suited crime fighter appears to agree to combat and the police officer on the scene doesn’t intervene to stop them and no one is arrested or goes to jail. The question is, should citizens of a rightful age be allowed to engage in mutual combat if they agree to it and harm no one else? Is this a legitimate way of allowing citizens to mediate their problems? Leave your thoughts below.
