Surveillance video has surfaced showing suspected New York City bomber Ahmad Rahami leaving a pressure cooker bomb inside a suitcase on a busy street Saturday night.

The video obtained by NBCNews New York shows Rahami leaving the bomb inside a rolling suitcase and simply abandoning it on the sidewalk, across from a busy hotel. Later on, two men walk up to the bag, take out the bomb, and walk away with the suitcase. Officials say their removal of the bomb inadvertently disabled the device, enabling investigators to discover Rahami’s identity.
One man who walked by the bomb actually kicked it.
