Senator Rand Paul appeared on The O’Reilly Factor to discuss whether or not he was running for President in 2016. O’Reilly set up the segment by showing a series of sound bites that display Senator Paul verbally thrashing the sitting president. The Fox News host accused Senator Paul and his party of being pinned to the wall over the issues such as outreach to hispanics and other minorities. The Republican Party failed to do adequate outreach to the youth, women and minorities as evidenced by the outcome of the 2012 elections. O’Reilly correctly points out that President Obama is winning the argument across the board. Senator Paul disagreed citing his own statistics. At the end of the interview, Senator Paul is asked whether he will be running for president. His reply?
