Video: ‘Fresh Prince’ Actress Blasts Jada Pinkett Smith’s Call to Boycott Oscars

Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Viv for the first three season of Fresh Prince of Bell-Air, has made a video blasting Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett for her calls to black actors to boycott the Oscars.

Pinkett Smith made headlines for suggesting black actors and actresses should boycott the prestigious award ceremony because of the lack of black nominees. Hubert blasts Pinkett Smith’s remarks and also puts Will Smith on blast– insinuating that this is all because he was not nominated for his role in Concussion. 

“You ain’t Barack and Michelle Obama and ya’ll need to get over yourselves,” Hubert says.
