Common sense is not all that common.
NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly reported that his police officers shot two innocent bystanders when they were in pursuit of a deranged suspect that pointed their finger at officers. The officers opened fire after the lunatic suspect pretended to point a gun at them in the middle of Times Square.
Police accidentally shot a woman who uses a walker in the leg and another female received a deep graze to the buttocks. The suspect was captured and was found to be carrying only a wallet.
